Default I cannot open microsoft word and get a blank page anymore

Hello,
Yesterday, I opened microsoft word (I have the small business office 2000)
and it didn't open right. Instead of the title "document 1" I got something
else but didn't pay attention to what it was and I clicked again on it.
Finally I got a page. I typed a document and saved it. Since then, each time
I open microsoft word, I get that specific document instead of a blank page.
I tried restoring my PC but it didn't work. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled my software, still the same. I really don't know what to do
anymore to get a blank page again. It's like microsoft word memorized the
document I typed as being the opening page of microsoft word.
Thanks for your insight,
Sincerely,
Isabella
