Default Footnotes (endnotes) and justified text

My endnotes are as justified text in columns. I have many long website
addresses in the endnote, which result in large white spaces in the text on
the line before because the address is seen as one word and put on the next
lines. I can insert a paragraph break, but I lose the justification of that
endnote. Any way to break up the web address but keep the justification?

Also, I have the seperator line between my article and the beginning of the
endnotes, but the line shows up at the beginning of each column (3) on the
next pages. Anyway to selectively delete the seperator line? The only other
solution I thought of was to delete the seperator line completely, and then
anchor a text box with a seperator line to the end of the article. Is there a
better solution?

Thanks,

Susan C.

Yes. The first line is the Endnote Separator, the second longer line is the
Endnote Continuation Separator, and they are different.
Switch into Normal View and go to View | Footnotes. A footnote pane will
open up at the bottom. Use the dropdown menu at the top of the pane to
access the separators and delete as desired.

Not sure about your other question.

For the first question, you can use a line break (Shift+Enter), but see also
