in Word, how to access an installed font not showing in the list?

If it has a .fon suffix, then it is a screen font, which can't be printed
and consequently won't be displayed in Word. If it's a PostScript or printer-resident font and you aren't seeing it, you may have elected to display only TrueType fonts. -- Suzanne S. I had this exact problem last week with a Type 1 font that was installed
correctly, and displayed correctly in Corel and Adobe apps, but simply didn't show up in Word (although other Type 1 fonts did). I copied and pasted some text from Photoshop: it appeared in Word using the troublesome font, but graphically scrambled. I assumed - on minimal evidence to be sure - that the font file was corrupt in some way that troubled Word but not Photoshop. "Ron Finney" Ron wrote in message ...
