Default correcting text

Sounds like you have pressed the Insert key. Press the Insert key and try to
edit the text. With the Insert key on this will over write text as you type.

Hope this helps,

Paul

I often change my mind about the way I want to say something in a document.
Ordinarily I can place my cursor in between words, type additional words and
they will be inserted, pushing the previously entered test to the right
Lately, however, when I place my cursor in a finished sentence and begin
typing new words - what has already been written is being deleted by my new
text.

I'm using MS Word in Windows XP. Can someone help me?
