Default User Unable to Select Checkbox

Our site requires the use of a protected fill-in form, and we have a
user telling us that she is unable to check any boxes. Instead, she
gets the Check Box Form Field Options dialog box. I find this strange
since I've filled in the checkboxes (one click) at home and on our
network. I think it may be her version of Word or her preferences...
What do you all suggest?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If the options dialog appears, then the form isn't protected (or is no
longer protected). Is the lock icon on the Forms toolbar in the "down"
position?

Yes, the lock icon on the Forms toolbar is in the "down" position. She
has to submit this form, so she couldn't use the "default" options in
that dialog box to fill out the form, could she?

By the way, here's the url to the form, if it helps:

I downloaded the document, and it behaved exactly as it should --
clicking the check box, or tabbing to it and pressing the spacebar,
made it check and uncheck.

The only thing I know of that can cause the Properties dialog to
appear when a form field is clicked is to have the form protection
turned off. All I could offer is to ask the user to try completing the
form on a different computer.

Your user *could* use the default option, but that isn't how the form
is supposed to work. Once the form is submitted to someone else, I
don't know what they're supposed to do with it. If the form is just
stored or printed, it would be OK that way; but if it's processed into
a database, it might appear to be blank.

It's good to know it's not just me anyway. Thanks for all your help.
I'll suggest she use a different computer.
