insert doc as link

See http://daiya.mvps.org/includetext.htm. Using fields is safer than master documents (see the reply by Charles Kenyon about problems with master docs). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "yepp" wrote in message oups.com... can anyone tell me the difference between using a master doc in outline view and inserting a file using "insert as link" Wow, thanks Stefan! This may be the answer I have been searching for. Anyone know why the file size is getting so large if I am using 'INCLUDETEXT' feature? The documents are not embedded, they are linked, but the file size of the "master" is as big as if they were embedded. |
