What happens when you try? What steps are you using? Are you typing the text
in the document and then selecting it and opening Tools | AutoCorrect
Options?

I am actually typing the text in AutoCorrect within the Tools option where
the replace column appears to be shorter than the with column. I was
wondering if there was a way to expand the replace column to allow for more
characters than it does.

Don't do it that way. Type it in your document, select it, and it will
automatically be placed in the AutoCorrect dialog for you. It may not all
display, but it will all be there.

The problem that I am having is that the text I would like to have replaced
is larger than the character option it offers such as that in the with
column. I tried typing company name into the document and selected
AutoCorrect as you suggest but it is capturing the info onto the "With"
column and not the shorter "Replace" column. Thanks though, I do appreciate
your help.

Okay, I missed that you were trying to type in the "Replace" box. The idea
of AutoCorrect is to be able to type a very short text and replace it with a
longer one (see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...toCorrect.htm), so
I think you're using the wrong tool here, especially if the text is already
typed (AutoCorrect happens only as you type). Perhaps Find and Replace is
what you need instead?
