Default Headers / Footers vanish in 2nd window

Word 2003 - using split screen to view an extended area of text in the same
document while adding/ changing text and the headers/foooters disappear in
the second window, how do i keep them in both screens?

Hi ?B?dHVydGxlc2hlbGJ5?=,

Word 2003 - using split screen to view an extended area of text in the same
document while adding/ changing text and the headers/foooters disappear in
the second window, how do i keep them in both screens?

Have you checked whether "White space" in Tools/Options/View is activated in
this second screen?

That fixed it, I don't understand why, but Hooray! You can't believe the
difference that makes when your trying to update an extensive outline and
need to be able to follow the entire thread.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

You might also try using the NORMAL view, when you need to "block out" the
intervening header/footer sections.
