SELECTING MULTIPLE TABLES

Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the square (containing a four-headed arrow) in the left margin near the top corner of each table. Unlike paragraph styles and character styles, the table styles don't offer a "Select all (n) instances" command, so there is no other way to do this in the user interface. If you're working in a macro, there's still no way to select all tables (or any other discontinuous text range), but you can loop through all members of the ActiveDocument.Tables collection to modify each one in turn. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
