Default How do I create labels with vertical lettering?

I need to create labels for binders and need them to be visible vertically
vice horizontally when the binder is used. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Place the text into either a table or a textbox. Select the text and choose
Format--Text direction.

I know this is an old post, but someone else might like the info. Excel has
a much better feature for vertical typing under Format/Cells/Alignment. That
is, if you have Excel.

I don't see how that is really any different, and I would think that
creating labels using Excel would be quite difficult (getting the alignment
correct).
