Default How do I configure my Fax Modem to Fax from a Word document?

I wanted to be able to Fax from a Word document. I don't know how to set up
my fax modem with the option to print to the modem in order to send faxes.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanx.

I'm sorry, Graham....but your instructions may be best understood by someone
with more computer experience than me. I still need to know, step-by-step,
how to "configure" my modem to "print" Word documents. I've tried
researching Microsoft "Help Online", by user's manuals, a Word tutorial, and
I still can't find how to get what I need to make Word documents Fax directly.

Could you possibly take what you've written and give it to me in a more
"basic" way? Thanks in advance.

Steve

The Windows fax software is not installed by default. From Windows Control
panel add or remove programs, choose add/remove Windows components (left
side of dialog). Add the fax facility.

This will add a fax 'printer' driver to your list of available printers
which my web page explains how to simply access. Configuring the fax
software is simply a matter of following the on screen instructions the
first time you use it.
