Default My shortcut keys Don't work properly

Start of Document Hotkey is supposed to be CNTRL + HOME,,, however, it is
bringing up the dialog box for GO TO (Control + G), causing an intermediate
step! I want to go to page 1, Line 1, and not all kinds of intermediate
steps, when in the midst of a 160 page document! WIN XP Pro, Office 2003.
ALSO, How can I get the parameters of Normal.dot? or any of the other
template attributes?
Thank You in advance.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
