Default how do I use margins for comments in word 2003

I am writing a set of instructions and want to use the margins on both right
and left for additional comments

Default how do I use margins for comments in word 2003

There is no provision for using both sides, but you can increase the space
on either side by changing the percentage for "Preferred width" on the Track
Changes tab of Tools | Options.
