word 2000 sr1 query
Am attempting to move a text document from "My Documents" to "Word 2000 SR1"
to edit the text in the document, but when transferring the file from my documents to word, the text appears as unintelligible letters and symbols. I have previously transferred documents successfully, but cannot seem to remember the procedure I followed . Appreciate and helpful response. Thanks in advance. franktee OS Winxp Pro |

word 2000 sr1 query
My documents is a file storage area on your hard drive. Word 2000 SR1 is a
Word processor? You *open* the document from the Word Processor. File Open. If Word cannot recognize the file type (or mis-recognizes it) it can use the wrong filter. You can select the correct filter for the document type by setting the prompt from tools options general confirm conversion at open. Or the document may simply be corrupt or incompatible. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org franktee wrote: Am attempting to move a text document from "My Documents" to "Word 2000 SR1" to edit the text in the document, but when transferring the file from my documents to word, the text appears as unintelligible letters and symbols.
