Status Bar information loads slowly
I have noticed that pretty much every time I am looking at the page number
function in the Status Bar, it takes several seconds to load. I'm positive that this wasn't the case with Word 2003. I have certain features enabled/disabled on the Status Bar--you can see he http://img9.imageshack.us/my.php?ima...0311192826.jpg The function I am talking about is described as "Page Number (1 of 6)" on the status bar. Is there anything I can do to get this number loaded more quickly? Should I start disabling other features on the status bar that I don't use? Or is this simply the effect of having only a gig of RAM? -- Paul Office 2007 XP SP3 Dell Inspiron 1501 |
