Edit TOC after it has been generated
Is there a way to edit/change properties of a TOC after it has been
generated? E.g. initially I selected 3 heading levels to be displayed + page numbers. Once generated, I decide I only need 2 heading levels and I don't want the page numbers anymore. How do I do that if I don't want to re-generate and replace existing TOC? |

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TOCSwitches.htm and
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/TOCTips.htm. You should be able to just change the "1-3" parameter to "1-2." -- Suzanne S.
