Default How do I stop cursor arrow from highlighting sentence when I clic.

Word 2003. When I click to the right of the text the arrow highlights the
whole sentence. I want to turn that off because I just want the cursor to go
to the end of the sentence and wait. It's driving me crazy because it takes
so much extra time to move the cursor to exactly the end of the line so that
it stops being an arrow and starts being a cursor. I want to rip my hair out
and cannot find how to turn the damn thing off. Can anybody help?

G'Day Joffrey,

You cannot turn it off.

Using Word is much easier with keyboard shortcuts.

Try experimenting with..........
END
To the end of a line
HOME
To the beginning of a line
CTRL+UP ARROW
One paragraph up
CTRL+DOWN ARROW
One paragraph down
LEFT ARROW
One character to the left
RIGHT ARROW
One character to the right
CTRL+LEFT ARROW
One word to the left
CTRL+RIGHT ARROW
One word to the right
UP ARROW
Up one line
DOWN ARROW
Down one line
ALT+CTRL+PAGE UP
To the top of the window
ALT+CTRL+PAGE DOWN
To the end of the window
PAGE UP
Up one screen (scrolling)
PAGE DOWN
Down one screen (scrolling)
CTRL+PAGE DOWN
To the top of the next page
CTRL+PAGE UP
To the top of the previous page
CTRL+END
To the end of a document
CTRL+HOME
To the beginning of a document

(Taken from Word Help)

Does that help??

This evidently occurs only when you have Right-to-Left support enabled.
