How can I close a document in one click? (possible in Word 2003)
In Word 2003 you could click an 'x' in the upper right corner of the
document. That 'x' has been replaced by a help icon ("?") in 2007. Is there a way to close a document with just one click? (not File/close)? Thanks. Allen |

You can add the Close button to the QAT.

After that, you can click once on the button on the toolbar to close the current document. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

Another option: Use the Control+W keystroke & you won't have to click
anything at all :-) -- Regards |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "cheadle" wrote in message ... In Word 2003 you could click an 'x' in the upper right corner of the document.
