Default pictures/clip art inserted in word don't show, just a frame shows

When I insert pictures or graphics into a word document it doesn't show. All
you see is the frame where the item would be. With Clipart items (other than
photos) if you right click on it and select "edit the picture" you can then
see it, but if it happens to be a photo or an item which is not a clipart
item then that option is not available.

This is really frustrating as I do a lot of proposals and documentation for
our company which requires me to insert logos, charts and photo's.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? I have checked all my settings,
but can't find anything there that looks "wrong".

Hi Nevilene
You could check the following: Under Tools | Options, View
Is the item drawings on?
And is your paragraph defined exact? If so, then you have to change it
into At Least.

Hope this will do.

Regards,
Maria

Go to Tools | Options and make sure Picture placeholder isn't checked. See:
