Default Create Custom colour in Word - "Emerald Green"

I've been trying to create a custom colour in word, "Emerald Green" for my
wedding invitations.
I have a friend that's a printer and will print whatever I like, and in any
shade that exists.. top quality.

The problem is when I'm in Word, and trying to create the custom colour, no
matter what I click, it all looks the same, like a hunter green or sage green
(basically, earthy yellowish greens).
I can't see if I'm choosing an emerald shade that will print as emerald at
his end.
This is a picture online that shows the shade of text that I'm trying to
achieve, but can't see on my monitor
http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/color/img/lg_emgreen.jpg

Does anyone know the 'formula' for emerald green in Word?

BTW, I'm saving as pdf file so his pc will see my font. I had originally
sent as a 'word' doc, but the codes embedded or whatever got confused by his
pc and it saw it as "Arial" (I am NOT printing my invites in Arial, but as
Script).
So, to save as pdf, I have to "print" to "Adobe Distiller" which captures
the image of the doc I guess?

Hoping someone can help me soon.
THANKS in advance for all your replies

Is your display set to display "true color?"

Default Create Custom colour in Word - "Emerald Green"

When I sample parts of the picture you attached I get the RGB code 0,105,57
On these pages
http://www.csh.rit.edu/~vance/pages/color.html
http://tx4.us/mr/mr006.htm
I get 48,116,91 and 0,102,34 respectively

To get these colors for your font you will need to go into the "font color"
dialog, click "more colors" and "custom", then input the wanted RGB code and
click "ok".
(this applies to 2003, not sure how different 2007 is)

The only surefire way of getting the color you want is a test-print, you can
never rely completely on your monitor for color, there are too many settings
that can alter the result.

Also remember that large areas of one color will appear different from small
lines of the same color, so the sample should be similar to your final
invitation.

Good luck, and congratulations.

Also 2007 can save to pdf, for the other I can recommend "bullzip pdf
printer" (do a google search). Not the most complicated, but fast and good
enough. Do remember to select a high quality on the print-out from either
bullzip or adobe destiller.
200dpi or higher, or "printer" or better.
