Default Can I use a graphic file or a pdf file as a template in Word?

I was asked to design a flyer template with photos and a logo for use with
Microsoft Word. Can I create this template in Freehand or Photoshop and save
it for import into a Word Tempate?

You could, conceivably, design the graphics for the template in such a program.
Then use Insert/Picture/From file to bring them into Word. But not the entire
template.
