Default I don't have microsoft

I don't have Word. I'm doing a test trial and I'm writing a paper. For some
reason , the e-mails I send from Word are not working. I don't receive
e-mails and I can't save to my computer.

This is gibberish! You don't have Word, but you are sending e-mails from
Word which is not an e-mail application, but a word processor? What exactly
are you trying to do with which products?

This is what I gather:

She's downloaded a trial version of Word. She's testing it by writing a
paper.

Word *can* send emails, so she's confusing it with a mail reader.

It's not clear what's not saving--whether she's referring to the paper
she's trying to write, or the files she's sending as email. If the
latter, of course not since as you point out Word isn't a mail reader.

Obviously your crystal ball is cleaner than mine. I prefer to wait for the
facts.
Word cannot 'send e-mails'. It links to external software - usually Outlook.
