Using the tab key in outlining
My tab key won't work to change the levels in an outline. I have to open the
outlining toolbar and use the promote and demote buttons. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change in order to be able to use the tabs? I'm using Word 2003. |

Click on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type tab |
check the "Set left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces" box | OK. ejwebb wrote: My tab key won't work to change the levels in an outline.
