Default Cross Reference Problem

I have a large document with Figure and Table captions. The captions are
referenced (using insert reference) within the body of the document. When I
print the document, the page breaks after the paragraph that the cross
reference is in. I have not put in any hard page breaks. Please advise.

Thanks.

Default Cross Reference Problem

Even if the cross-referenced item doesn't include a page break, it might
include a paragraph with "Page break before" formatting (Paragraph dialog
box).
