Office 2007 Footer
Insert a next page section break at the end of the TOC. Double-click the
header to activate the header/footer view of the newly inserted section. On the Header & Footer Tools Design tab, click Page Number, and then click Format Page Numbers. Click "Start at," and type in 1 if necessary. When you are done, click OK. In order to change the contents of the header and/or footer, click to turn off the Link to Previous option. Note that this must be done separately for each type of header and footer in the document. For more on headers and footers in Word, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm. For more on the general principles of creating a front matter, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting...rontMatter.htm (not modified for Word 2007). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Pam" wrote in message ...
