Default Cross References

Hello

OS: Windows XP
App: Office 2002 SP3

Is it possible to create a Cross Reference which displays both the style
numbering and the heading i.e. [1. Heading1] or [1.1 Heading2]. I have tried
using Bookmarks but on updating the field the style is applied to the Cross
Reference.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Regards
Mike

You may need two cross-references, one to the heading number and one to the
heading text.

Suzanne

Many thanks for the reply.

This is what they do now. I just wondered whether there was a single method
available.

Regards
Mike
