How to make a table of contents?
What verions of Word?
For 2003, Insert, Reference, Index and Tables, Table of Contents For 2000, Insert, Index and Tables, Table fo Contents. Don't know about 2007. But for all the above, the Section/chapter titles have to have a style that has Outline Levels applied, such as the built-in Heading 1 - 9. Easiest to use these styles and modify them to your requirements, then Word will know what to do. Try the Help (press F1) within your Word application and search for "creating a table of contents". Hope this helps DeanH "alica" wrote: m. |
