****OOPS!!!***** I said thank you waaaaay to quickly..... Problem is still
not resolved, by doing the following: Make changes to the template, then hold down shift key, then click File, Save All.... The printer will always default back to the last printer you selected and printed to, regardless of what you specify in the template. Still need help, Anyone have any other ideas here????? Thanks In Advance... "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: If you have Acrobat 7 installed, see the last section of http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm -- Suzanne S. You cannot save printer information in a document or template. Word always
defaults to the Windows default printer on startup and thereafter to the currently active printer. -- Suzanne S. You could write an intercept for the various save commands that gets the
printer information and saves it in document variables. Then have an AutoOpen macro that gets that information from the variables and changes the printer. Doing so, though, could have unintended consequences. At least one version of Word recently changed the system default printer when you changed a printer using vba. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
