Hi,

I need to insert a comment into a document, however I do not want to show
any author information. It's not desired for this particular project.

What I need is: Comment: abcd
Not Comment[rpb1]: abcd

Thanks
Ray

I believe the name of the reviewer is picked up from the document
properties. If you clear the name here it won't display (In my Word
2002 XP File/Properties/[%look for Author%]).

On the Security tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Remove personal
information." This won't entirely remove the information, but it will
substitute "Author."

Suzanne,

Thank you for the reply. Although the author information is gone, there now
appears a letter and number next to comment. Comment[A1]:

Do you of a why to get rid of the A1? I know it seems like over kill, but we
are trying to get just the word "comment:" to appear and then our text.

Thanks Again,
Ray

Henk,

I checked the properties file and there was nothing listed under author, any
other suggestions.

Thanks
Ray
