How do I mark a place in a document that I can go back to quickly
While working on a large document, I want to be able to quickly mark the spot
that I am in, then go to another page. After doing what I need, I want to be able to return to my original "spot". For these cases, I don't want to work in split screen - for some tasks one needs the whole page displayed. Bookmarks are not really the answer, although that really describes what I want to do - put something on the page that acts as a temporary placeholder that I can return to quickly. Any ideas? One possibility might be pressing Shift+F5, which allows you to move
between the last three edit points of a document. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Tim Pate" wrote in message ...
