Access2003 fields merged to Word 2000
I keep getting this message when I try to merge fields from my Access2003
database into my Word2000 document. Do they have to be the same version or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks, Emmy |

Hi ?B?RW1teQ==?=,

But yes, for the data connection method Word 2000 uses by default, you have to have the same version of Access. You should be able to use ODBC instead of the default DDE, however. Activate the Select method checkbox in the Open Data source dialog box. Choose ODBC in the dialog box that follows. If you want to use a query, click Options then activate Views.
