Do this to install the macro: Press Alt+F11 to display the Visual Basic
Editor. Click View | Project Explorer. Select the "Normal" item. On the Insert menu, click Module. Inside the module, paste the code from the article. To run the macro: First select the document text. Then, in the Visual Basic Editor, place the cursor inside the code and press F5. After you've fixed the issue, just delete the code module inserted: Right-click and choose the Remove option. Click No when asked if you want to export it. Test the macro with a copy of your original document; that way, if
something goes wrong you haven't lost anything. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Chloe333" wrote in message news lol, Stefan, you don't understand how much of a klutz I am and how I'd probably click the wrong thing and stuff the whole thing up , but I'll give it a go. It's not clear which specific step(s) you found difficult. But note that
the Visual Basic Editor window, just like an ordinary Word document window, can be accessed by clicking the appropriate taskbar icon. In other words, you can activate the document, select the text, and then activate the Visual Basic Editor again. It may cover the document but you can still run the macro. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Chloe333" wrote in message news Yes but no Stefan...I don't understand.
