Default Document Order

When I use windows explorer in the My Documents Folder all folders and files
contained within that folder are sorted alphabetically descending.

When, using WordXP, I go to open a document from within that same folder the
files are in no particular order.

Is there a setting I can use within word that would list the files
alphabetically

TIA
Tom

Change the view to Details and click on the Name heading to sort
alphabetically.
