Works to Word conversion.
I have a question about document conversion that I think I already know the
answer to, but am not entirely positive. Here's my situation, my Brother called to ask how to convert a Works document to a Word document. Being as I have both programs installed and haven't had just one or the other installed at a time for quite some while now, I was unsure of how to answer his question. This is due to the fact that, having both installed myself, I already have all the converters installed that I need. Also, by having both installed I am not able to confirm nor deny my suspicion that Works does in fact allow this conversion when you choose "Save As..." from the file menu. However, I DO recognize the very distinct possibility that I may be wrong. Thus comes my question: Can a Works Document be converted to a Word Document if Word is NOT installed?? Thanks for any help. I believe that Works allows you to save in Word document format even if you
don't have Word installed. -- Suzanne S. Thanks much. I was pretty sure this was the case, but not entirely. I'll
check with my Brother and see if he's tried this yet or not. This'll really help solve his problem if it works. "Suzanne S.
