Default Removine a cover page

hi i have a word 2007 document i saved in compartibility mode with a cover
page now i want to remove the cover page but word wont let me. i tried
converting it to 2007 but it still wont be removed. any help.

Default Removine a cover page

Just select and delete the contents of the page. Note that if tables are
added (not at all unusual with cover pages), you can remove them by using
the BackSpace button instead of Delete.

The task will be easier if you show nonprinting marks (for example by
pressing Ctrl+Shift+8); this makes it easier to delete the manual page break
added when you inserted the cover page.
