"Directory Service is Currently Unavailable"
Recently, my MS Word 2007, cannot print to from my laptop (wireless) to the
shared printer attached to a PC on my home network. It can see the printer, but cannot connect to it. When I search for the printer, I get the message "Directory Service is currently unavailable." I can print to this printer from other Office programs and Wordpad. I have rebooted the laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer from Windows XP, turned the printer off and on, and rebooted the host PC (Windows Vista). I get all the latest Office and Windows updatest automatically. I have run out of things to try. Do you have any suggestions? |
