been unable to find a way and cannot imagine why Microsoft would eliminate that feature. Any help from anyone on this topic would be appreciated |

Click the Tools button (at the bottom of the dialog, next to the Save button) and choose General Options. Enter the password, then enter it again when requested, and continue saving as usual. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
