Style for whole document?
Hi, I recently just installed Word 2007 (I previously used Word '02, so
there's a lot I'm getting used to still), and I'm having trouble with the styles. I modified one of the built in styles just so it would be with Times New Roman (as I'm a student and have to use it) in 12pt. However, whenever I hit enter to make a new paragraph in my paper, I lose all the style formatting and it becomes Calibri in 11pt with 1.5 spacing and no indent. Sure, I can fix all this, but when I'm writing a 20 page paper it gets REALLY annoying to have to re-format every paragraph. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to disable/stop the auto re-formating? (I have tried setting my modified format as the document's default style.) Thanks in advance. |

Are you sure that the "Style for following paragraph" is the same style? For
heading styles, for example, the following style is Normal or Body Text. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Thora" wrote in message ... Oh, thanks; that solved it! That was ridiculously simple... =)

I'm glad I hit on the solution (I didn't really have much confidence that I
had!). -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Thora" wrote in message ... Oh, thanks; that solved it! That was ridiculously simple... =) "Suzanne S.
