Default Create macro that changes the folder Word opens

In prior versions of Word I was able to create a series of macros that, when
run, consistently opened a specific drive and folder (we use several in our
work). In Office 2003 I created several that just "set" the directory (and
then I had to click on "Open") but they don't work consistently, that is,
from within every document.

While you could create a macro, why not just add those drives/folders
you use frequently to the Places Bar in the Open/Save dialog boxes?

Navigate to the folder, click the Tools menu, and select "Add to My
Places". To make other modifications, such as icon size, right-click
the Places Bar to obtain a list of options.

Thank you VERY much! I suspected that there might be another way to do this,
but didn't know what it was.
