Lose Word 97 document format
Hi
I am using Word 97 in a Windows NT environment. My Word documents were saved properly but when I re-opened them I lost all the formats. The same documents were sent to my colleagues via email and they are OK. I have re-installed Word a number of times but have no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot. Regards |

In Word, click on File | Open. If the "Files of type:" setting
is "Recover text from any file", then change it to "Word documents" or "All documents". Hugo_B wrote: Hi I am using Word 97 in a Windows NT environment. Check the file open options - my guess is that you have it set to 'recover
any text from file'. Change to Word Document. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Hugo_B wrote: Hi I am using Word 97 in a Windows NT environment.
