How do you make a hyperlink active in a protected document
I have created a form and there are 2 hyperlinks that are in the form. When
I protect the form, I can't click on the hyperlink. How can I fix it so that the form is protected and hyperlinks are able to execute? |

How do you make a hyperlink active in a protected document
Okay so the links now work for me, but when I send the form to other users,
it does not work for them? How can I fix this? "garfield-n-odie [MVP]" wrote: See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nksInForms.htm . If you've created the FollowLink macro in the template, but you're creating
new documents based on the template to send to others, the macro is staying in the template and isn't available to others -- that's just the way templates and macros work. The solution is generally to send the template itself. Also, if the other users have their macro security level set to High, the macro will be disabled. You can't change their setting by anything you do in the document/template. You need to tell them to go to Tools Macro Security and set their level to Medium, and enable macros when the warning message appears on opening. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
