Default Header

Have created a MS Word document where Page 1 is Frontispiece, Pages 2 & 3 are
a table of contents, and pages 4 to end are a lengthy table. Went to page 4,
added a header for the table, and found that the header also appeared on
pages 2 & 3. Deleting the header, placing a page break or section break
between pages 3 & 4, and then re-adding the header did not solve the problem.
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. Thank you
in advance for your help.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...rontMatter.htm. Your
problem has to do with the "same as previous" setting for your headers.
