Default Recover changes when Word doc is NOT saved?

I have a user (and I use that term loosely) who made changes to a Word
document then went to close it and accidentally clicked "No" when asked if
she'd like to save her changes. Now she's all panicked about it. Is there a
way to retrieve what she had typed previously?

Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

If the changes were not saved, there's nothing to retrieve. She got two
chances to save, once voluntarily and once when reminded, and blew both of
them. Sorry.
