Default Permanently deleting documents and their titles

How do I delete the old titles of my deleted documents from the document drop
down box? Even after deleting my old documents, the old titles of them show
in the document drop down box.

Hi,

You can clear the documents list by going to Tools|Options|General and changing the 'recently used files list' value to 0. After
doing that, you can reset the value to whatever you were using before.
