Default how to turn off print notification.

Please can someone advise how to turn off the message that informs me I have
sent something to print? The advice given before has not helped.

That isn't something you can control from Word. It's set in Windows.

This is for Windows XP; if you have another Windows version, check the Help
for a reference to "printer notification".

- Click Start Settings Printers and Faxes.
- In the Printers & Faxes window, click File Server Properties.
- In the Print Server Properties dialog, click the Advanced tab.
- Uncheck "Show informational notifications for local printers" and "Show
informational notifications for network printers".
- Click OK.
