Select the number, then press Ctrl+F9 to insert a pair of field delimiters
around the number, then between the { and the number, insert an =. After the number, before the }, insert * 1 \* roman (or ROMAN) and then press Alt+F9 to toggle off the display of the field codes and then F9 to update the field. -- Hope this helps. The * 1 should not be required? {= n \*Roman} where n is the number, will
work. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Doug Robbins - Word MVP wrote: Select the number, then press Ctrl+F9 to insert a pair of field delimiters around the number, then between the { and the number, insert an =.
