Default Pixelated Pictures

I have a basic photoshop graphic that I need inserted into a badge
template - when I do so - it pixelates. It doesn't change the size.

I set the resolution to 72dpi thinking that would speak with my old
version of word.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Don't reduce it to 72dpi. Set it for something around 300.
