Default Shared Documents

Is there anyway to kick someone out of a shared document? Example, if
someone has a document open that I am in and I want to make changes to it
but, it is in read only mode. Is there a way to kick the other person out of
the document? Thanks in advance

Afraid not - whoever opens the doc first "owns" it as long as they have it
open. That's why any subsequent users can open as *Read Only*.
