Not the right Normal.dot template appears
I don't know how I've managed to do this, but each time I create a new
document I get a document with words appear, etc, rather than the usual blank template. I have opened the normal.dot template and saved it with all the wordings removed, but Word still opens with this other document from this worded template. How can I ensure that Word opens with a blank document generated from the normal.dot? Ta Kim |

Hi Kim
See Why is my "Blank Document" not blank? http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErr...ocNotBlank.htm Each machine should have only one normal.dot. In Word, at Tools Options File Locations, identify the "User Templates" folder. That is where normal.dot should be, and that's the one you need to edit. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly.
