formatting not shown in outline view Word 2007
Recently, formatting in outline view in Word 2007 is not shown on screen. For
instance, if I apply bold to a word, the Bold button will be highlighted indicating that it is bold, but it is not shown as bold. However, it is shown as bold if I switch to another view, such as draft view. I believe this starting happening after Vista SP1 was installed. Is anybody else having this problem, and how do I fix it? |

On the Outlining tab, check the box for "Show text formatting."

formatting not shown in outline view Word 2007
Thanks. I should have just looked at the ribbon, but I didn't manually change
it; I must have accidentally unchecked it. I'm not sure why this is a feature, though. Thank you for your solution. Bill "Suzanne S. I guess some users want to see the structure of the outline without the
formatting. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Bill" wrote in message ... Thanks.
